Laser engraving permanently marks your design into a surface. It never peels or fades like a sticker or print. Here's what we can engrave and cut in our Logan studio, and what each material looks like.
Materials we engrave
- Timber, ply and bamboo: rich, toasted brown engraving. Perfect for chopping boards, coasters and signs.
- Leather (genuine and PU): a dark, crisp mark. Great for keyrings, wallets and tags.
- Slate and stone: engraves a light grey-white for striking contrast. Ideal for house signs and memorials.
- Cork: soft, warm results for coasters and noticeboards.
- Coated and anodised metal: removes the coating to reveal bright metal. Think tumblers, pens and tools.
- Dark acrylic and rubber: clean, high-contrast marks.
Materials we cut
We laser cut basswood and plywood up to about 5 mm, plus card, cardboard, felt, cork and thin leather, on sheets up to about 31 × 27 cm. That's perfect for cake toppers, ornaments, lettering and stencils.
What we can't do (yet)
Clear glass and clear acrylic don't engrave well with our current laser, and we don't cut metal. Large-format and acrylic cutting are on our roadmap.
