Favours, place settings and signage are the details guests remember. Laser cutting and engraving make them personal, and 3D printing makes them unusual. Here's what works well, and how to plan it.
Popular ideas
- Engraved coasters. A couple's names and date, a monogram, or a small design that matches the theme.
- Laser-cut place names. Each guest's name cut from thin timber, with a small icon if you like.
- Engraved keyrings and bottle openers. Practical, light to post, and kept for years.
- Cake toppers. Cut from timber or acrylic, or 3D-printed in a metallic silk finish.
- Ceremony and table signs. Welcome boards, table numbers and seating charts, cut or engraved on timber.
- Ornaments. Great for winter and Christmas weddings and baby showers.
Plan your timeline
Our usual turnaround is 3–5 business days, but event orders take longer to design and check, so we suggest starting 4–6 weeks before the date. Big batches, anything with many different names and anything needing a colour we don't stock should start earlier.
Bulk pricing
Discounts apply automatically: 10% off at 10+ items, 15% off at 25+ and 20% off at 50+. Engraving or cutting the same design many times is very efficient, and the more you order the lower the cost per piece.
What we need from you
- How many you need and the date of the event.
- The wording, names and any logo or monogram.
- Your colours, or a photo of your invitations or theme.
- A spreadsheet or list of guest names, if you're ordering place names.
Check the proof carefully
We send a digital proof of the design before we engrave or cut. Check every name and date letter by letter. Once something is engraved, it is permanent.
